Yellow fogs / headlights
#1
Want to go about tinting fogs yellow and was wondering if anyone has done it.. If so what did you use that yellow tinting film you can get or has anyone managed to find a spray or paint as imagine this is much better than using that film stuff which looks a pain in the ass haha .. Thanks

Samass did his fogs and headlights. Looked sick, pretty sure it was something like laminx film and wasn't to much of a PITA

Yeah, Irene looked pretty sweet tbh, was a shame to see her go. I tried tinting my rear lights with film, but I found it really difficult. Dunno if i was just trying to do it in a really cack handed way, but I ended up using a spray and found it far better. Headlights would probably be easier to use a film on though. Smile

i wouldnt be painting them as you cant take it off as easily. Yeh its simples. heat gun to warm everything up then put it on working from the middle of the light out. Any small bubbles just put a cut in with a scalpal or craft night to let the air out Big Grin

Get some tint paint, take the lens apart, dribble some paint in the lens and swill it about until its completely covered then pour out any excess.
Dont try to brush it on else it will look shit.

As above frosty or you would eat brush marks as the paint is so thin Sad

I used the film, the cheapest stuff i could find on ebay.

Tips:
- flatten out sections of it by pressing it between a couple of books for a day or 2.
- Work with it cold starting at the center of the light then once youve got it roughly there heat it with a hair dryer and it lets you work out the odd bubble and stretch the edges.
