#1
Anyone know if the inner drive shalft, the one with the bearing on it., from a Gti6 engine will fit a Xud9?

Definitely will, they're essentially the same item. I have GTi6 shafts on mine...

Yeah, Just wondered really as there's a clean 1.6 at the scrappers and my mate needs a new driver's side driveshaft.

Might sound daft, but what's the benefit of GTi6 ones over DTub ones, are they lighter?

Make sure you change both shafts to gti ones, otherwise you'll just drive round in circles with all the extra power on one side.

A gti one is the only one i had, it turns out that a complete drive shaft is only £57 new

Now i dont have that bearing making any noise
