I'm selling my dad's motorbike - it's been in the garage for far too long and we need rid of it ASAP so thought I'd see if anyone on here wants it. It's not been run in quite some time, but with a new spark plug, oil and a bit of fuel it should run absolutely fine! It will need a new battery, MOT, tax, tyres and chain, so essentially it'll be a little project for someone to take on and have a play with.

Here's a bit more info about the bike:
http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/suzuki_...x_1989.php

The photo above is just to show what it looks like, as it's at the back of my garage at the moment, and anyone whose seen my garage will know it's a pain to get it out lol

Looking for £100 though I'm open to offers as it needs to be gone within the next few weeks.

Bear in mind that photo isn't of the actual bike. It needs a chain, brakes, battery, tyres, service, tax, MOT. It's a pretty old bike. Would it really be worth that much?

Well I only paid £350 for my 1999 wr200 fully operational! I'd say if it was all working and functional then yes, as it is a 1989 non runner that's not been moved for years probably not

Just to add, I'd have had this as well, that is seriously f*cking cheap! Although jonny will give it a better home, I have a disused quarry a mile from my house so you can guess how I'd have used it...

Good to hear Smile had my eye on this for a while hoping you'd get an update up soon. Always wanted the bike for myself but never had any money to offer Tongue

Cheers chap once I got it on the road, I can take the car off road and use it for a daily ride whilst I get the car done!

Another good thing is I can insure the bike as a classic, got a quote for 67 f/c lol

Nice one Jonny, did it take much to get it running?

I'm jealous of how cheap that was to insure, wish I'd kept it now haha.

Oh yeh sorry Scott! It's cost me about 200 so far! Carb rebuild kit, fork rebuild kit, new front disc and pads, rear wheel bearings and a new battery, tank was absolutely full of rust took a fair amount of flushing lol

Oh new chain and sprocket
