For the rear wiper to just stop working?

Is the anyway to test the relays? Is there a relay on the rear wiper motor itself?

Any help would be great please

Yes it is. There was a recall on the rear wiper because water used to get into the relay and destroy it. If you take the boot cover off, there is a relay in there. Replace it, put it in a sandwich bag and zip tie it up. Job done
