Wheel ET question again
#1
Ok so it's another wheel post by me would et30 on my hdi be too far in the arch to would it create some poke ?? As I really don't want to do any rear arch work, I may get a heat gun and roll it slightly but I don't want any cutting and welding going on :-( but I soooo want some dish or concave wheels

Theres a few things needed we need to know, wheel size (diameter and width) and the et. Also why size tyres you want to run and what ride height the car is. All of this will effect the fitment.

idealy youd need between ET0 & 15 for 8j to 9j to get a bit of poke

Running strectched tyres

Ahhhhh right ok the wheels are 15" et30 and I'd probably run a fairly low profile 40 maybe the car is lowered 60mm at the front and is about 2 inches of the bump atop at the back really don't know how low it is at the rear

Stick some 15mm spacers on and theyll be bang on!
40 profile tyres will look tiny on a 306, even 45s look a bit daft imho

ET0 will give you more poke than ET30,

If you need more poke than ET0 you go the ET-10 and if you need more poke ET-20 get the order now?

Have a look on google for info on wheel offset. Its basically the difference between the centre of the wheel and where the face is that bolts to the hub. So et0 means the face is on the centre of the wheel and on an 8j wheel you will have 4 inches out and 4 inches in from the hub. Et30 will move the wheel into the arch 30mm, et-20 will move it out 20mm etc.

By adding spacers to the back of the wheel you move the point that it bolts to the hub down, so reducing the the et.
