That's just f*cking porn right there. I've often thought of getting one of these one day. First job, get the DPF removed, then map it Big Grin

Am I the only one who thinks these are brilliant?!?!

They map to 180bhp easily and get 50mpg on a run, and they look amazing!

98,000+ miles, dent in the front wing, needs a new offside-rear light cluster and offside front wing has a big dent in it. Rear bumper paint looks damaged from the pictures too. Undesirable colour and there appears to be wear on the drivers seat bolster.

I'd say £1650 is about the going rate, hardly a bargain dude. Dealer would have got that in for a fair bit less...

Found the advert on AT...

i would never have guessed that. did the fact that its 0.1 liters bigger have anything to do with the decision to sell the sedan?

I was expecting more of a 'wow' tbh but fair play! They just look slightly dated these days.

I'm sure you'll get it looking epic soon though, big blower on the cards? Finish off your ideas you had for your estate?

My thoughts exactly, the 6-spoke ones on the earlier 2.0/3.0 ones are nicer, these are the only ones that come on the HDI though.

Those are 16" hogar wheels iirc. I fancied a set for the sedan a while.
I keep looking at these, always fancied one. Not a big fan of the silver tho but fair play.

Get on over to the coupe forum some good knowledge on there

Look better in the dark blue (like mine) and really should have the v6 in to match the looks.

With 200bhp and that amazing noise I can live with the low mpg

Pah even with a jammed open thermostat making the car run on cold setting all the time the alfa got 45mpg around town and no need to remap as its already running 175bhp

Sounds like the 1st coupe I left a deposit on.

Dealer phones up and says they have discoverd an oil leak when it was in for Mot, says its nothing major but would knock £100 if I agreed to get it fixed myself.

So thinking it was ok when I viewed it nothing major could be wrong, went to collect the car and asked to be shown the leak.
Dealer just points me in the direction of the car, walking up to it I can see a nice puddle on the floor, get down to have a look and it was visably dripping off the side of the under tray!!

Told the dealer I wasn't buying it in that condition, he tried to argue over giving me my deposit back as he had mot and taxed the car, told him that's fine but expect a visit from trading standards.
He was soon in the safe and counting the money back out

Tom in all honesty how many 11-20yr old cars do you know of without little issues?
You go out and find another car of the same age in better condition!
Golfs have all rotten away from this era!
If you dont like dealing with the odd issues you are bound to get go get a new car on one of those just add fuel deals.
