door locking with light switch

right my drivers loom is shot and no longer there so no electric. passenger is connected but the window will not work and fitted a new motor. when the passenger door is shut if i turn the lights on it locks. is this a short some were easy enough to be found?

Pretty sure the passenger window switch works through the drivers switch...if theres no power to the drivers one the pass won't work.

And whats the passenger loom like? Knackered probably.

sorry for the crap writing.

i do not have a loom connector on the drivers side because the loom is dead so no electic in the drivers door at all

passenger window also doesnt work. ive fitted a new motor and the switch lights up but it is not making a noise

Pull the looms out and see what the state of them is, is your best bet.

You say there's not even a plug? Do you need one to fit?

Would of thought you need to repair the door looms before you'll stand a chance of fault finding. Especially with peugeots electrics
