As my air con is nackerd in the 6 i am going to remove it inc the pump from The engine.
Does anyone know what parts i need to do this? How much they cost? And where to get them from?

Thanks in advance

Iirc don't you just need a new belt? From a car with the non air con? Like the rallye

You need the non-ac aux set-up from the rallye. Slightly different pulley arrangement iirc...

Thats what i was thinking but ive read that mayb there is more to it than just changing the belt to a smaller rallye one? Tensioners or a pulley mayb?
Ed do you know if i can get this as a kit? If so any ideas on price and where from?

Also would the aux set up be the same from a non a/c 2.0 16 xsi?

Yep, just get the rallye tensioner and idler.

Also remove all the pipework while the engine is out of the car.

^^ Chris he's not taking his engine out?! His AC Is knackered that's all!!
I think Lynxengineering sell a kit, but the simplest way would be to have a quick search of the '6 forum, find out what the rallye set-up involves, and just buy that with a rallye belt
I'll have a peek when I get a minute, see if I can find any info on it

I wouldn't bother mate, you wont get an accurate representation; as it's a ph2 most of it's probably fallen off already...
AND SO IT BEGINS

this is the link on unipart... but which ones are they?
http://www.unipartautomotive.co.uk/Engin...Tensioners
Looking at the picture Bongo put up... its the £32.90 tensioner.. and the £38.70 idler... = £71.60 so then would need the belt?!

Think some of the belts are different. PAS pulley on the 6 is smaller than the one on the 1.8 So some have a shorter belt.
