In-line fuel filters

Alright I'm wanting to change my fuel filter but I think I'd be better getting a inline one I imagine there less prone to gettin leaks etc so I'm just wondering what you lot have used and where you got it from ? Cheers

as for the existing filter housing, just drain it out and remove it if you want - be careful, if you're using veg, that the new inline filter will have no heating component - perhaps insulate the inline filter

Oh and did you have to use any new fuel pipes or are the existing ones sufficient ? And the breather from the rocker cover what did you do with that?

Flows much better and the return is piped in, its a car/fuel system that really should have a lift pump.......but it doesnt!

Wouldn't insulate the filter if you're on veg, as the engine bay temps will be the only thing warming the fuel up!

They're excellent fun to bleed!!!

I think me and Darren spent around 3 hours trying to prime one once...

Best part is they do have a lift pump, but only lifts it to the top of the fuel tank into a swirl pot... Lol!

The standard filter housing doesn't seal very well letting air into the system.

So thats why when I stripped my old engine down to nothing and took the filter housing apart it look like someone had gone wild with some strawberry hubba bubba's..
