Long shot, but has anyone got ecusafe or similiar software that is capable of removing the fap coding? - car in question is a 2.2hdi. I have tried the rather shitty 180bhp de-fap'd map thats floating about on the internet but after writing it, the car doesn't rev past 4k rpm so thats no good!

I have a copy,

Ive used it several times on 2.0 / 2.2 16v hdis after knocking out the insides of the fap, works perfectly...

Just curious my dads 2.2hdi needs this doing but hes been told it cant be done as the ECU is siemens rather than a bosch does this matter ?
