Time for the fun discussions over where the christmas meet should be in 2018. Final date and location will be confirmed at the end of September latest.
Im going to throw out there that it should be somewhere more south or possible east this time. Last christmas meet most people travelled up and the majority travelled from the east. Possibly Cambridge?
History of christmas meets below...
2017 - Coventry - the one where dum dum ragged his truck around the pavement and sam threw a mans bricks in a ditch.
2016 - Leicester - the one where dum dum had 17 bowls of chips.
2015 - Gloucester - the one with bowling nextdoor and crap frankie and bennies again.
2014 - Gloucester - the one with bowling nextdoor and crap frankie and bennies.
2013 - Milton Keynes - the one where some people had gfs and others didnt. feat hats and skiing.
2012 - Reading - the first one
Is anyone game for an adhoc meet in Wells? Its the small city down south where Hot Fuzz is filmed where we can go and see some film locations and have some banter. Needs more investigation to see if there is bowling, cheap food and accom! Again ideas of when to do this would be great.

Wells is pretty close for me too so would be up for that. It's a nice little town but don't think there's ten pin bowling anywhere nearby. There is an alternative though - pub skittles is the thing to do when in Somerset! Had a quick look n there are a few pubs a short drive from Wells with skittle alleys.

how about Oxford - Kassam Complex?
restaurants, bowling, cinema, Holiday Inn Express on the doorstep.
Good access from the ring-road too.

Is there going to be a christmas meet sorted out? Be good to try and have a good meet up again, plus christmas isn't too far away.

Current thoughts are potentially cambridge on 2nd weekend of December. We need to make sure there is bowling, a pub and cheap accomodation ideally within walking distance if not a short drive.
