Brought this white ph1. Was a shed! Had horrendous black side skirts.. horrendous black 3 leg spoiler which was tiger sealed on so bad I brought another boot! A bolt has snapped off in the hub aswell.. low on oil as had rocker done (supposedly) and did not top up oil.. saxo vtr wheels.. pretty shit! Also found out it had an engine swap.
Had a new cambelt aux belt. Oil filter oil change. Fuel filter done today. Sprayed ssideskirts white. New boot fitted. Cyclones..got coilovers to fit and disc axle to fit.
Needs a clean.  Boost guage fitted now too.. also ground pin was horrendous to had that sorted.

So .. iv had the cyclones on for 2 minutes and iv already got new shoes for it.. lush 1.2 team dynamics direct for 16"s. Had to buy a new hub as the hub which the bolt was sheered in was completely ruined as someone has tried to have ago at it. Got a cheap hub off frosty!  The coilovers are now fitted but we found out they were 206 coilovers so they don't sit all the way into the hub and was also so tight to get get sit in. Looks much better thoughSmile

What a difference. I agree with your comment about the cyclones though i've decided to opt out of cyclone for the time being on my pug too.

So.. used some carpet floor dye frosty gave me and it worked pretty nicely. Here's my new gti6 seats which make it look so much nicer

So .. after weeks of not being able to update my project thread! I have had loads of work done. Thanks to frosty and james for helping me out too.

Got a new axle with gti6 anti roll bar and gti6 torsion bar.
New disks and pads.
Front new hdi disks and pads calipers so a better upgrade. New exhaust welded.
Engine mount
Played with the bosch a little only running 17psi atm playing safe. Il upload some photos Smile

Looking good pal nice looking motor. Got to ask where you get the gauge pod from and what gauges you put in as done something similar with my boost gauge but it just held in place at the min. Keep up the good work looking forward to more updates.

Hi Matt.  Thanks buddy. I bought the plate on ebay took me a while to find il see if I can find a link. I was going to put them  where the cd player is. But it's easier down the bottom for me Smile the guages are boost, volt and oil temp
