Yes, I've heard them.
Yes I think they sound whack.
But then I hate closed back headphones with a passion - sound way too processed to me - "natural", "musical" or "transparent" isn't something I'd use to describe them.

from what i've experienced, it's all about what source the music has come from - all youtube music sounds WAYY processed, listening through either DAB radio/CD's or first hand MP3's has an absoloute pristine sound to it

I'm talking in CD quality here, Youtube, MP3 and Lossy Audio Codecs are the death of decent quality music. I rekon music quality is going DOWN these days compared to what it was 10 years ago...
The Beats will always sound processed, they've got the noise reduction circuit in them playing about, the bass is WAY over the top, making the mids horribly muddy... The highs are definitely nothing to write home about...
My 595s are like taking cotton wool out your ears and (yes, not than yours, I'm talking MRSP...) are cheaper...
