What would be the symptoms of a worn out set of hydraulic lifters?

Same result on all engines, these are nothing special. Youtube is great if you're ever wondering about stuff like this.

nah,  PSA engines tend to go on for ages with worn lifters..

VW/VAG lumps will shit the bucket and cost you a fortune..
