Ashtray lid leaf springs

Hi there.

I'm currently nursing a 306 1.9d through its later stages of life.

I've removed the centre consol and with it the ashtray and seem to have dislodged some little leaf springs for the ashtray lid. I can't for the life of me work out how they went. I was hoping one of you kind folk on here my know?

Happened to me when i first bought my 306. I couldn't figure it out, i think i ended up buying a new console

take the lid out and put the springs [ outwards <--( ] on the flats behind where the lid clips into. Put the lid back in one side at a time.
