After a fast road/stripped car

I currently have a seat leon cupra tdi pd 150 its good and smart but i dont do many miles now and want something silly.  

Im turning 21 and insurance is getting a little better but a '6 is still quite expensive and the cars are a lot more to initially purchase.

So now im after something revvy,loud and cheap?

any ideas?

never gave the 206 gti a thought I test drove a clio 182 and that was just right but the cabin felt horrid as im quite tall (although I plan on ripping it all out)

heard about these being reliable I'd love a volvo wagon but they're rare in manual flavour around here

Get a capital T

little t mean LPT, capital T is the full one. 25 more HP as standard and i may be wrongm but i think its a different turbo!

An aero would be the best starting point, that comes with the best turbo.

Pretty much anything with north of 150bhp in a medium shell or 100bhp in a light shell will shift along well.

Bang for buck I'd recommend a ZR 160, or a 206 180. They are not particularly in demand and so sell for very cheap.

its getting his hands on a decent posh rover and support pebbles, plus some bits are not as easy to get hold of now, like they were a couple of years ago. Most may have been bought up for racing in the mgcc
but at least most rovers now wont be on their original headgaskets.

Yeah don't get a saab if you want something that revs, i know diesels with higher red lines. Are 6s really more expensive to buy? Perhaps it's the season, when i was looking a few months back they were cheaper than a decent hdi, certainly cheaper than anything with a vag badge, or anything that quick tbh.
