hi guys, one for any alarm system / elecrical guru's,
i've had a pretty serious power drain over the last few months, and it came back the other day when i got it washed, looks like the alarm box behind the front bumper got wet? wondering if this may have been the problem as i've tested the drain now it's off, and it's pulling 31 micro (definately not milli) amps, so no drain at all as far as makes no difference
what kind of voltage should i be seeing from the onboard batteries (in the box) i'm guessing 12v but may be different, i cant tell which pins to test this with either, but not getting much voltage from any combination

the alarm box is a sounder which has a set of battery's in it that are powered to charge all the time.
the battery's and circuit board get wrecked cause of where it is in direct line of road debris and water
just unplug it and bin it.
if you want to replace it look for one with the same numbers from a 206 at they are in a better place and don't get so wet

on the 306 it is mounted above the horns in the N/side front wheel arch at the front of the wheel
on the 206 it is mounted behind the n/side strut top in the engine bay

Shoddy pieces of junk. Not sure if it will affect my insurance having chucked mine (got an aftermarket one fitted years ago anyway)
