So I'm sitting looking at the estate and the Rallye and I really want to have the Rallye driving and had a front end rebuild before the Christmas meet. Sadly for what I want to do I don't have the money really but I know the estate has got to have a bit of value to it so I'm contemplating selling or breaking the estate to fund the Rallye.
I drove this to Scotland and back, a round trip of over 1000 miles a couple of weeks ago with no issues (apart from killing a turbo with a kinked oil line that is now remedied) and would have no qualms about hopping in the car right now and driving another 1000 miles.
Anyway the important bits are:
- 2002 Bianca White Peugeot 306 Meridian SE Estate.
- XUD11 2.1TD 12v engine from a Citroen XM.
- Car is on a little over 250k.
- The engine I was told was 100k and I think its done about 15k between 2 306s but I have no proof of the mileage.
- MOT till mid December.
- Just over 5 months tax.
- Cam belt done about 2 years ago when it was first fitted to a 306.

Bodywork and interior
Smoothed bonnet and grille.
roof rails removed.
rolled arches, flared at the front.
no fogs.
leather effect reclining buckets.
GTi6 wheel.
GTi6 center console.
Battery in boot.
40mm boost gauge in dash.
FLI speakers.
I have a tow bar (not fitted).
The bad bits
The car is on 250k+ so she is no show queen, it has dents and bad paint in places but no major damage.
I had to weld a couple of plates on the nearside rear arch although I caught it before it had broken through.
There is a small chip in the windscreen.
The drivers seat belt is frayed slightly (passed the last MOT).
2 of the brake lines under the car are a little bent from something hitting the underside.
No spare wheel or cage.
The drivers seat is not on its runners but i can supply these.
It lopes a bit when cold.
Rev counter not working, coolant level and oil pressure not plugged in. I have the ph1 loom that should make these work but then that looses the speedo so needs a hybrid engine loom knocking up if these things bother you.
Rear towing eye missing.
The good bits
Cam belt less than 2 years old.
Serviced about 2000 miles ago, oil, oil filter, K&N, fuel filter and gear oil all done.
Torquey and powerful engine.
Good solid reliable car, its mechanical control so theres f*ck all to go wrong.
Runs on veg.
Good tyres and a few months tax and test so no worries for months.
uber comfy seats.
So I was thinking of advertising the car at about £1100
If I break
Engine/box/FMIC/pump/exhaust/loom/rad the whole conversion kit £600
Seats and subframes £150
Wheels, Tyres and bolts £200
GMax kit and beam £150
302mm brakes and braided lines £120
other bits and bobs priced as to what people want.
Sound fair?
