Hi just wondering if its possible to fit a ph1 grill onto a ph3. I prefer the look of the older grill. I know with the bumper you need the slam panel as well. Cant afford to get a bumper resprayed right now lol

		No is the.simple.answer

There would be nowhere for the bonnet badge to go on the ph 3 bonnet, and the headlight are a different shape

I'm probably the only guy who wants to do a phase3 to phase 1 conversion lol

All the searches that come up are for ph1 to ph3 Regarding the bonnet i assume debadging the bonnet would work or would i need bumper/lights/grill and a bonnet?

So the headlights are different which means everything around them is different. As you have already said that's the bonnet, grille and the slam panel! You could probably fibreglass a phase 1 grille to make it bigger but its anything but a straight fit!

Has anyone done a phase 1 conversion in moonstone? Would be interesting to see what it would look like

I'm wanting to put phase 3 crystals into my phase 1. Please advise me on whether I need to change the grille or bonnet. I can't be arsed to change the bonnet for the sake of headlights. A could stretch to a grill

What condition are your crystals in (02-09-2014, 10:26 PM)Grant Wrote:(02-09-2014, 10:19 PM)SRowell Wrote:(02-09-2014, 10:17 PM)S16 Wrote: I'm wanting to put phase 3 crystals into my phase 1. I'd be running a badge less grill so no badge to cater for

Im guessing if the headlights are different, the bonnet will be too. We should just swap front ends (wish i had the money to do that lol)

I ended up finding a pic of a ph1 with a phase 3 bumper, didn't look good at all

Perhaps I should just get a badgeless grill for the ph1 Or just find some angel eyes for the ph1

As tempting as it is, i think i'll just leave mine how it is. Too much cost in respraying parts to make a car look older and probably making it more difficult to sell in the future

I think I'll get some angel eyes and a badgeless grille and keep the originals in storage.

If i decide to keep it for a few years, i'll do it in the future
