Only started making this noise today, it's there right from start up.
See video...
apologies for sound quality but you can just about hear it over the usual engine drone. Car runs as sweet as a nut still but this noise is irritating. It sounds as if it's a belt of somesort. Can anyone shed any light? Is it a familiar sound to anyone?

Use a screw driver to listen to different parts of the engine by putting it to lets say cam belt cover and putting your ear to the handle. Have a listen, if the noise comes from inside cambelt casing then its time for new belt.

Considering where the noise is coming from, id say it sounds like a idler or tensioner. Ive seen them on a bent spindle before and the belt steps in and out when turning. Could be the belt catching the cover which Ive had the misfortune of rebuilding an engine where this has happened.
