Official weights (both HDi Meridians) Hatch - 1155kg, Estate 1200kg, so you're about right.

 Weighed the car today...

1180kg with half a tank of fuel.

My DT came in at 1030-1040kg when I weighed it, again with half a tank, no rear bench...

So yeah, 140kg less... I'd say that's about right...

		1040 is very light...
Rear bench cant be 100kg surely?!

Theres no way that a xud11 lump is heavier by 40kg!!!

Esp as my whole car comes in at 30kg ish less than a gti6 book weight

Phew that was hard work

TBs came out sooooo nice.....but the ARBs were proper seized in.

Difference between 19mm and new 21mm torsion bars...

[attachment=16988]

So upgraded from

19mm ARB to 20mm
19mm TBs to 21mms

How it sits now...

Measured at identical distance to arch as with 19s but now sits about 15mm higher.

I know some wont like that...but its exactly what I wanted.
Nice n level now

And the drive is transformed...didnt realise quite what a difference they would make!!!

Flipping ek...if you really wana be pedantic...

It ranges from 20.91mm in places to @ max of 21.43 due to paint/surface corrosion.

So I assumed they were 21mms!!

So I thought I can make the loom for the sensors and power, fit all that ready...while hanging myself over code!
