Would lucas fuel pump screwed

Would lucas fuel pump screwed too much cause a turbo not to work right i put a t2 on and its boosting 8psi
 but my lucas fuel pump is nearly right out if i screwed the turbo will that work ?

tighten the wastegate on the turbo,did you replace the gaske when you changed the turbo?
Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs

i doubt it is wastegate to be honest, you've probably got a manifold boost leak, they're only like 6 quid, you should have changed it really.

If i screwed turbo more would it boost harder with the leak ?

Il do that didnt relise how much boost u actually loose strugling to get 5 psi

you remember to reconnect the pipe going to intercooler from pump?
