You need the in tank pump or other pump? I have a phase 3 gti6 say there if you need parts

I've a '97 ph2 GTi6 pump within the housing if that's any good to you?

Have you got a pic of it, As service box list's different numbers and I;ve never taken a later phase 1 out to see if there different
