Difference between ph1/2/3

Going to sound very dull how can you tell the difference I've only owned Ford's so have no clue. My 306 is a p reg 5 door 1.6

p reg could be a ph1 or 2, digital miles or not?

Just take a picture of your car

But mostly - ph1 analogue dials, square fogs, squarer headlights, indicators are a separate until, different shaped grill. Few tell tell signs

As it turns out I cant find the old thread on it either well forgive you. Effectively its ph1, ph2 and ph2 facelift but its called ph3 here there is a surprising amount different between ph2 and 3 thats really subtle.

Also alot of stuff that we think of as ph3 parts came on ph2 GTi6s and some of the real poverty spec ph3s have ph2 parts along with parts bin specials on changeover years.

I have a ph1 but with ph2 and 3 exterior haha!! Ph1s in my case have a extra glove box . Ph2 onwards had airbags. ANd i have no air con and keypad immobilser.

Its not. It is/was a proper ph2 but had ph3 headlights and repeaters retro fitted. There was no other ph3 parts on that car.

This is the difference between a ph2 & a ph2.5 . mainly that the colour coded bumpers ph2 R&S reg and ph2.5 late S&T reg, obviously some exceptions to the rule with the parts bin specials

Thankyou! She was a bargain paid £300 for it nearly 2years ago now! I have two little girls and have a 3door haha! 5 door would be more practical really but it fits so much in the boot!
