Not sure that's a fault though, its reverse I think...

One box goes up and down. The other just goes down, I can only select 4 gears like that. Darren thinks if I spin the input shaft it'll move fine, I'm really hoping he's right!

Fair enough, he's probably right!

I did a similar thing with the 'box off the HDi breaker...then realised I was being daft and that it did all move fine, thought I'd got reverse (pushed the L shaped one inwards while moving the other sideways or something like that) but may've just spun the shaft then....tired brain tonight lol.

Yeah as you move the lever on the top the one on the side goes in and out. Basically allowing for 6 different postions, the one that makes a massive clonk is reverse!
