Theres a gti6 on 260k or something over on the 6 forum. Regularly see taxis hit 300k+ on hdi engines

Tbh i don't think a HG in 285k is too much to complain about. I think you had your monies worth from it lol.

My first 306 only had 21k on the clock.... Before i wrote it off.
got it in 2011 and owned it for 3weeks (250ish miles) then a tractor decided to pull out in front of me and wrote off the 306 and ruined a 3month old tractor lol.
when in doubt...... flat out.

The engine in my ph2 covered about 270 in my ph1 before it got swapped over, pretty sure its done 100k in my ph2 now

Mine is on 264k but is on a timer now as I've organised a replacement. Engine is still plenty strong.
