Had a head scratch moment earlier; i've got a set of calipers under the impression they're DT calipers (247mm?), so, i bought a set of discs and pads to match.
The pads are for a "206 HDi" which i assume are the same part number as the 306dt.
anyway, short of the long; the pads look too small and a slightly different shape; i know non-originals/oem can differ slightly, could this be it? or do i have the wrong caliper all together. I bought them so long ago it's past me.

They look the same as the ones on my HDI. They are the 266 disc type.

Forgot to say my girlfriends got a 206 hdi Dturbo and her pads and calipers aren't the same as mine but her discs are 266mm.

Don't forget on all 306 brakes other than 283s, there was at least two different manafacturers all with slightly varying pad designs. Could be you have bendix pads there

hmm i'm not sure; because even the disc doesnt sit all the way in the caliper; only about 3/4 into the caliper

Can't see the pictures, but if they're 266s, they fit under 14s, specifically they'll fit under your 14s
