IMO theyre great, wouldnt say heavy tbh calipers really light and disk a bit heavy but nothin major, I ran with 288 xantia disks and were awesome

Darren the stock 6 brakes are like 6kg for the discs and 6.5 kg for the calipers ish.

Brembo calipers are 4kg each and the xantia discs are about 8kg.

Basically the corner total weight of the brakes is almost identical but you increase the rotating mass a bit. But I highly doubt you'll actually notice it...

And if you're feeling all Ed Doe about it, you can spend another 500quid on the ash floating discs and Anodised bells. If you get the adapters you can get the 302s or 330 discs too...! But prepare to be bummed for the price of the kits!!!

		Please get them Darren

Save me buying them and never getting them under my wheels

Plus you could run 310mm under your wheels and actually have some beneficial breaking over gti-6

288mm disks and 406 pads theres a certain disk (expensive thou) that stops squeel but I still believe rebuilt they wont squeel I know someone who did this and no squeel but who do you know whos had brembos squeel rebuild them fully
I think I paid around 130 for my disks and 50 pads mid range priced ones at local motorfactors pal
