As I really know nothing about the characteristics of the HDI im not sure whether this is something I should be concerned about.
When the turbo spools up and really starts kicking I get like a really raspy/ hiss/mashed bearing sort of sound lol is this normal,
The only point I really caught the noise was on the 2nd pass at 0:18 right before the pttss

To be honest I cant hear anythig other than the exhaust lol I can hear spool and doesn't sound any different to normal  mine is fairly noisy and hisses whn you let off is that what you mean ??

Well it doesn't sound anything like mine did...my turbo was making lots of interesting noises haha. Sounds fine tbh Jamie.

We got strange sound from hdi s when we do the smoke test on the mot
I think it's the high pressure pump winding down may be wrong

Sounds fine mate. Every HDi I hear sounds different. I'm really paranoid about different noises I hear, but I'm probably hearing too much into it and think I'm hearing a different noise every day!
