So I'm gonna be changing my engine over for a known running one on the bank holiday weekend (4th, 5th, and 6th), providing I have one in time. I know a couple of people have mentioned they want to help, so thought I'd make a weekend of it.
The plan would be to change the engine on Saturday. Providing all goes to plan, this should be easy. But I have another 2 days to play with if it all goes tits up.
Then, BBQ at mine and we should have a full day of epic roads, walks and photo banter, followed by more BBQ and an easy drive home on Monday.
I'm not expecting many people to show up, especially as the Lakes meet was only last weekend, but I'll supply lots of tea and coffee and there's a fair bit of homebrew left that needs drinking!

And yeah, anyone who can get to Carnforth or Oxenholme station, I should be able to give you a lift.
I have the house to myself for the weekend, so depending on numbers/weather there's either camping in my garden or lots of floor space inside

So erm, picking people up from the station is unlikely to happen, it looks like my brother's gonna be using his car. So unless Carl is around and wants to help, I'll be a bit stuck for transport. But I'm sure I can sort something out.
