hi guys so i have no brakes. well the pedal is at the bottom and touches floor does stop but its not good. it has ABS. recently fitted a brake cylinder in the rear drum and the bleed nipple came loose not long after so lost all fluid. sorted it out now they have gone again. changed master cylinder and they did'nt build any pressure to bleed them but with abit of time i got pressure and the the brake pedal was near the top  but now i am getting full travel again to the floor  . also the pipe that runs across the top of engine normally bolts down to the TMIC were it bends there is a T piece it seems to be blowing/sucking air in so have blocked that off if people get were i mean. sorry for the cr*p write up.

Erm, sounds like you have no servo assistance...you need that vacuum pipe between the servo and the engine...

Yeah, it should go from the brake servo to somewhere on the engine (vaccuum pump on an XUD I reckon), without it your brakes will be the same as they are with the engine off.

Somethings f*cked by the sounds of it... How does the pedal even get stuck on the floor? Surely that means theres completely no pressure in the system, like a seals broke or something? Sure you dont have a bleed nipple open or something? Or the master cylinder is shot?
Doesnt even own a 306.

Sounds like you are pushing all the fluid out, Is the Brake fluid pod still full up?

It wont be a servo issue if the pedal is going to the floor, you have air in the system and/or a fluid leak.
Check for leaks and bleed the whole system with fresh fluid.

The pedal does'nt get stuck on the floor! It travels to the floor hence no brakes hardly. Yes theres still fluid in there i changed the master cylinder too. Will have a double check over it again at the weekend

I've gotta say it's not the best description lol, I didn't even realise the pedal was going to the floor. If thats the case then I agree with the above, a leak somewhere. Dd you only change one brake cylinder? Maybe the other ones popped and dumped the fluid into the drum?

having it incorrectly fitted would also cause your issues. Are you sure you fitted it correctly?
Likewise, borked master cylinder seals would put the pedal to the floor.

Yes i only fitted 1 cylinder. Theres no fluid leaking that i can see. Also the brake pedal gets pressure when the car is turned of but when running they dont build any pressure

Yeah, that just proves the servo is doing it's job.
You've either got a CHRONIC airlock or it's pissing the fluid out.

If you're not losing fluid then i'd say definitely Airlock issue.
You been bleeding them properly? you start closest to the master cylinder and pump slowly to get the air out.

Have you definitely checked every centimeter of the braking system and all around the calipers and drums on a perfectly dry day for the leak as sometimes they are very good at hiding.

definite leak. My 1.4 I ran out of fluid and the pedal went to the floor and i couldnt stop... yay!
