Carl and I were discussing a "Top Gear" style competition of the whole trip, like they do in the cheap challenges.

categories like MPG over the whole trip, points lost for breakdowns, top speed on the autobahn (or maybe you get points for going over the book speed for the car, and deduct points for not achieving it), best looking (see who draws the most attention parked in monaco Doesn't count if the bonnet is up though )
