Put my car in monday at 8.30am for head gasket and radiator change. Garage says will be done tuesday by 5.30pm.

Here I am, wednesday, still no car and £60 of taxi fares later because they can't get the right radiator, and can't even put the old one on because the sodding lower hose leaks.

Kris wasn't available, gasket needed doing ASAP, so I went to these guys, they've done work for me before but never been this bad.

Problem is too, HG is more than a day's work and Kris's is miles away so it's a pain if I can't drive home.

i always strip the head down, all valves out then get it face ground beofre lapping the valves back in
