Hope this works and the sound wasn't destroyed by FB...
Also this is my mate driving and he bogs it epically but I still kinda like the noise

High blown diesels sounds 100 times better than anything else in the world ! Sadly im yet to own / borrow a camera thats capable of even ATTEMPTING to pickup the noise, cameras all just pickup the mids / highs / rattles etc, and make them all sound shite, whereas in real life, they sound fookin chronic!
Both of these videos are the old XUD so proper D Turbo noise.

I got a hdi, with cone filter , decat, mid box, powerflow backbox
the cone filter seems to add a deeper noise at lower rpm then the backbox comes more in later on

Get a jetex exhaust system. Sounds awesome on a gti6. (probably not so awesome on a xud)

Anyway, "de-filtering" ..means? Taking out the air filter? Excuse me but isnt that just retarded :/?

No bids but the HDI sounds good sat on launch control.... like a jet waiting to take off.... that's straight thru from Turbo to a standard rear silencer, air filter, remap, waste gate adjustment

You'll never get away from fact its a diesel but on boost you can make them sound sweet. Mines quiet on idle and general driving but anything over half throttle it just whistles and hisses!!!

Darren's dyno video is awesome. Sounds very tractory off boost, probably down to lower compression?? But it t looks like the Turbo could carry on

hate washers in exhausts, soon as you do it everyone know's wot you've done, and kills a car power wise, thats taken from experiance, we done it to a mates car, 2 hours later it was back out, better just with a full straight through, run big boost if you want turbo noise
@devils_fuel, afaik both where mot'd anyway, legal is a grey area lol
