well had a letter today saying my savings account interest rate is going to be cut from 2.7% to 1.5%
which is bollocks to be honest
so ive decided to spend some of it on something

If you want a second car that will appreciate in value more than you'd have got in interest here's a few ideas.

205 GTI
Corrado VR6
Sierra Cosworth
Merc 190E 2.5-16
Golf GTI 16v mk2
BMW 635CSI
Audi S2 coupe

Any of those is almost guaranteed to appreciate, you'd get cheap classic insurance and obviously any of them would be awesome to drive....
