I am so tempted to buy this just to use as a daily, already got 3 cars though. but still, would be a cool project for someone to tart it up a little bit or even if it just become a 2.1 engine donor.

Got to try and talk myself out of it, I promised I wouldn't buy yet another car until I've had this one a year but where am I gonna find another 2.1 XUD manual 605 in good nick with black leather? If I do buy it might make it a long-term project...

and for £300 you cant really lose, you could probably get that just for the engine

That's very close to my old hometown, pretty sure I have seen it running around Nottingham in the past if it is the same one it is in good nick...If it wasn't so much to insure one I'd write my Polo off, I mean sell it!

I already went to the effort of checking the insurance for me, £783 fully comp, cheaper than the 306 lol
why does it have to be december, any other time of year i would have it in an instant

In all seriousness, if I wasn't skint, I'd be on my way to Nottingham right now. I'm thinking about getting a '6 and keeping the DT as a daily but this would be a far better and comfier daily, plus if I had 2 cars I don't want them to be the same car. I just can't afford it, I have Xmas presents to buy, a house to renovate and a holiday to pay for
