How do people do it?!

Is the advice to give up and enlarge the holes in the bung? Because that's the best plan I've got!

Can't really see much need for the bung, just there to prevent noise isn't it?

Yeah that's a good idea I'll try that before cutting it up. Also thought about heating it up..

The difference between the diameter of the pipes and the diameter of the holes in the bung just seem way too much though couldn't even get them started

Lots of lube.. Also a bit of trimming
