Wanted: Thicker torsion bars

Need a thicker set of torsion bars for the estate as the back end needs firming up so I can still use the boot.
Would take a set of 21mm's, but if anyone has any larger kicking about....

Nah this has the GTI6 rear beam from the Sundance, was a freshly rebuilt jobby and Gav wanted the estate beam for his DTub

Yeah can get them made up, for instance Pug1off do them, but have you seen the price!?

so standard estates are thicker than gti's?

Just had a chat with a friend who works at Peugeot, even with discount he can only get them down to £194 with VAT, they're £212 new for the pair. can get 23mm's for just over £300...
