Mine also has a bit of oil around there. Need to sort that along with my leaky cam cover!

Excuses excuses. That gaskets a bugger on these, dont think ive seen one thats clean around that join.

well this just sorted my issue out, i was wondering what the oily substance around the elbow was, must be a leak there too...But going from a 1.1 saxo to the hdi i cant tell if its not boosting properly, its super quick compared to the saxo haha.

I haven't come across one that leaks enough from this joint to affect how quick it feels. That said, i'm currently investigating this as a possible cause for sluggishness on my second car, so may have to review my opinion shortly.
