My car has some GTi6 leathers in but the lever handle on the drivers side seat has broken a bit. You can still operate the tilt/slide mechanism but I wondered if the handle itself could be replaced with one from a scrappers?
More to the point, how would you even go about replacing it?
Important as in 6 weeks time that will be babies side of the car too...

Can anyone shed any light on this? I forgot to get a photo but will do later on if it helps.
Basically the lift handle to tilt the seat handle has broken a bit, I'm wondering if it can be replaced or whether I would be better off sourcing another drivers seat altogether.

(just so I don't have to go back into Service box to look it up again...)
