The Americans do the cone- ing so much better - you are supposed to just do something crazy like grab the ice cream and leave the person at the window with the cone whilst trying to get a look of disbelief from the drive thru worker as if to say 'did that really happen?'
Go and watch some YouTube videos of cone-ing the more inventive you can be with what you do with your ice cream the better though I do recommend you don't throw them at the drive thru worker or you could end up facing a charge of assault

Tbh the girl behind the counter didn't look shocked, or even very surprised, more like she'd just been told to come and watch two jeb-ends embarrass themselves. Let's face it, Maccy D's isn't the most exciting and fulfilling job in the world, you take what entertainment you can get. You'd give the staff just as much excitement by going in with a fat kid who drops food on themselves.
