Anyone know the ACTUAL battery size for a DT?
Currently have a cheapo motorfactors £40 jobby that sat unused for 6 months while the sundance was being broken and it's really struggling these days. Unless I use it every day it isn't holding a charge, and even then I need to drive it for a good half hour or so for it to want to start again the next time.
Currently looking at the Bosch S5004 (Halfords part number HSB075 - I noticed they gave it their own part number so you couldn't compare prices online, £70 delivered from eBay or £99 collected in Halfords
)
It's an 075
Voltage - 12V
Capacity - 61Ah
CCA (EN) - 600A
242L x 175W x 175H
Comes with a 5 year guarantee too, which is reassuring, and lots of reviews of people having no issues over the baltic winters we've been having.
Any other recommendations for size/battery type for the DT? Aux wise running a GTI6 fan on a manual switch direct from the battery and a small amp for the sub, all other electrics are standard LX with no alarm or anything.
