When you go to look at it, give him the deposit in cash and get him to sign a piece of paper to say he has received x amount of money as a deposit and partial payment for the car, with x amount left to pay. Make sure it has relevant details on it for the car, names and signatures.
Or try and use PayPal, but he may not go for that. Bank transfer offers no protection. |
