I hate my 306 dturbo
went out to the car this morning and the thing dosnt want to start it turns orver smoke out the back but it wont run its just had the pump and solinoid changed so am clueless now any ideas?
the car is a 1.9 306 dturbo on an (S)

Thats right on the crossover point between the Bosch and Lucas pump, which one does it have?

Could be another fault such as glow plugs or incorrect pump timing or even a leak in the fuel system causing the fuel run back from the rail injectors.
The smoke indicates unburnt fuel though?

It's the lucus pump it ran alright since the pump was fitted then this-morning it Wouldn't start there was smoke out the back tough so am confuseld lol

Solenoid stuck closed? Pull the wire off and back on.

Thanks for helping but in the end it was a sticky stop solenoid so a took it out and give it a wack then tried it ant it triggered so put it back in and guess what it started

Ok before a take a hammer to the thing dose any1 have any ideas what it cud be now. The solenoid is lifting and I am getting white smoke on turn over but it still wont start
