Yeah people have done it before, also another good one is if you have morette headlights you can remove a lense eddy on the 6 forum has both popped a lense out on the pass morette and cold air feed on the fog :-)
I would have thought 76mm on the smaller side of the trumpet should have been fine but eBay do sell larger ones :-)
