This has ground to a halt for various reasons - having yet another cheap car replace it, no time to work on it thanks to new job and having enough chassis rust to make a transit blush.
Today lolsteve came round to help me out with swapping some bits about on the new HDi. She's showing a fair bit of camber on the rear, only to be expected with 160-something-k on the clock. I've got a '6 one to refurbish, so the project doesn't need it's current beam any more, it's got a lot less miles on so should stay good for many thousand miles yet.
Naturally this meant that within a couple of hours i was digging a petrol filter out of the garage and bodging it into the zx's fuel system instead of the leak-tastic shite that was in there previously, so the ZX is running and somehow with rather more fuel than previously...
hifty: Really good fun, can't justify keeping it though so will be heading to the scrapyard regardless, at least i can drive it there now i guess. Unless someone wants to take it off my hands that is, goes to the first muppet to offer me £200...?
