I also went to Turkey a couple of years back and the resort / weather / beaches were amazing.
Unfortunately the locals were a bit unsavory. They pester you outside shops and can be quite insulting if you're with a fit woman, I fondly recall some scruffy bloke asking for 'real sex' with my girlfriend. Lovely. C*nt.
