So, i set about getting some matt lacquer on my bumpet, kindly obtained from samass - i tried a small spray first and saw that this stuff was going on THICK...
Carried on across the entirity of the bumper, from a fair distance i got to say, was planning on doing 2/3 layers of this as it was thick, rather than a thick top layer.
After the first layer had been sat in the sun drying, i'd seen a lot of run marks across it - it's impossible to avoid these marks which has upset me greatly...

So, i tried sanding it back, with an even thinner layer over the top, but it continues to run in any direction, rather than taking a nice stick like conventional lacquer.
What i've done now, is gone over the entire bumper with a very fine dusting of the original matt black, so techniclly it has the under layer protected, and a top layer for my ego...
Just drying, i'll see what it comes out like.
