I am not 100% on how you would find out if it has been mapped. Probably by getting a mapper to look at the software in the car.


Mapping a car is basically just re-programming the computer that controls the engine. You can change things like injection times, injection quantity etc and make more power for often very little loss in reliability or MPG.
