Theres uber low mileage 1 & 2 owner gti's on ebay for 8k that are likely to end up in private collections so cannot really be compared to a 140k mile muncher blaze ph2.5 '6 
That said i bought a £200 cherry rallye the other night with MOT until march 17 so prices cant be that steep
